I think I kind of understand how underappreciated mothers feel.
I spent an hour cleaning up everyone's crap in the kitchen today. It had been sitting there for two days, and I finally couldn't take it anymore. So I rolled up my sleeves and went at it.
An hour went by.
Another hour went by.
And the whole day passed.
If I had noticed that someone cleaned up my mess, I would thank them.
No one said a word.

Alright, so..
Well, I'm back at school at BYUI.
I was definitely not excited to come back, but now that I'm here and adjusted, I remember how much I love it.
Everyone is very polite. I love that you can walk around campus, or even on the street, and just say hi to whoever you pass by and they'll say hi back. Or you smile and they'll smile back.
Guys will always hold the door open for girls.
And yatta yatta, gentleman stuff :)
Joseph has come to visit us a few times. So have Ray and Lee. Also, Spencer has come over.
Some girls from Bellevue have come over, too. It's nice to see people I know from home.
My roommates are nice. We get along well.
However, I can't really deal with people who drag on. Talking, I mean.
I'm the kind of person who likes "Hi, how was your day? Good. Alright, see ya."
Well, longer than that is good too. It depends on how close we are, I guess.
But when people just talk and talk and talk, I can't pay attention. My mind goes elsewhere.
That doesn't really happen very often, but it happened tonight.
After FHE, Mileah (roomy1) came into our room and her and Julia (friend) started telling a bunch of stories back and forth for two hours. Heidi (roomy2) came in and joined as well.
I just wanted to go by myself and go on my computer or something, but I didn't want to be rude.
I just don't like it when people ramble :/
BUT they are nice! And they're fun! I like them.
Uhm... what else.
My classes are alright.
I don't particularly enjoy one a lot like in past semesters.
They just fall into stress levels.
My Pakistan class is BY FAR the most stressful. And then things fall in order until we get to Intermediate Piano down at the very bottom. I expected it to be a lot more advanced, but it turns out it's all review for me. So that class is just a kind of..mess around class. It's super boring during the lectures, because I already know everything she teaches, but when she lets us practice, it's fun to just mess around and play things that I've memorized. The pianos sound really nice.
We got our FHE groups today.
We only have four guys (instead of six) this time. They have a fifth roommate, but he's a super hermit. They said that they've only seen him like three times since they've been here. He locks himself in his room all day and refuses to go to FHE or Church :/
But they four guys are super fun! Especially one of them, who is also really cute.
And then we have six other girls besides our own apartment. They're all really fun, too.
Next Monday we're all going to hike up a mountain thing and fly kites! Haha I'm super excited.
And I already have a crush! :x
But it's already fading, too :x
How typical of me! Haha.
His name is Spencer Homer (he's half asian).
He was in my Science class and my band class. I sat by him in Science and our sections were going to have sectionals together.
But then he dropped Science, and it turns out that our sectionals will be held in different rooms with different teachers :/
And he didn't show up to band today either.
It's kind of hard to like someone when you can't ever talk to them ^^;

Things are very different here.
In Rexburg, everyone smiles at everyone who passes by.
Here, people seem to avoid eye contact at all costs. When I first got here, I smiled at the first few people I walked by but they looked at me like I was crazy.
In Rexburg, when walking down the street, you get smiles and the occasional hello.
Here, if strangers interact with you, they ask for hugs, honk at you, or hit on you. I've only been out of the house twice since I've been home (sad, right?) The first time, on the way to Will's house I got honked at. On the way back, two guys came prancing out of the park asking me if I could have a hug. The second time I was at the mall with my MOM and this guy hit on me (he was cute, so I regret not talking to him more, but my mooommm was right next to me!)
In Rexburg, activities are planned. When people want to hang out, they just drop by. But if you say "let's do something", it means you're going to plan an activity.
Here, if you say "let's do something", it means "let's chill and do nothing." (it seems like).
In Rexburg, if a swear word slips from someone's mouth, everyone turns and looks with horror on their face.
Here, swear words are common in every day speech.
In Rexburg, if someone wore shorts slightly above the knee (around town, because shorts aren't allowed on campus) or a sleeveless shirt, everyone would be looking.
Here, booty shorts and spaghetti straps are very common.

My roommates and I started a new tradition this semester where every night we get together and share the best part of our day and then have a family prayer before bed.
I love it. It feels so nice and peaceful and happy.
And it's really helped me to not be annoyed with them as much.
It's a lot easier to love them.
And I do love them a lot :)
I'm super glad we do that every night. It's brought us a lot closer together.

Spencer came over to visit today! He's one of our new FHE brothers.
And the best part?
Celeste and Lindsay were out.
So we had some time to get to know him before he could become smitten with Celeste and ignore us.
We talked to him for a while until we found out he's like a...double black belt in karate? Something like that.
So we were like "Show us stuff!" and I was like "Teach meee!"
So he stood up and he did a butterfly kick which was suuuuper cool!
And he started to sit down but I was like "Don't sit down!!!"
So he showed me how to defend myself if I was attacked from behind. He had Kelsey pretend to attack him from behind, and he "disarmed" her and tripped her (gently) to the ground. It was cool!
And then he had me stand up and he showed me how to avoid attacks. It was funnnn!

Julia came over today! (She's Kelsey's roommate from a year ago).
We went out to Winger's! Yumyumm.
After, Joseph came over and he brought his little brother! His name is Jacob and he's 16.
Oh my goodness, flashback to highschool. He was such a typical teenager XDD
Kelsey teased him a LOT. It was really funny to watch them.
And Jacob kept trying to beat up Joseph (Joseph was SUPER tired).
We hung out for an hour. It was a lot of fun ^___^

And then I hit a dead end.
I felt unbearably lonely.

Talking to people doesn't help.
I need to see people face to face.

Mmmm... What a nice dream -////-
It started with me playing mario kart on the cup where you have to do the courses backwards. We were on a course that doesn't exist in mario kart, but it did exist in dream mario kart <<
It was a zelda course, but it was similar to dk summit on mk wii.
Anyway... It was snowy and very steeply uphill.
I sat down and started moving my hands like I was swimming the butterfly. And it worked!!
Near the top, Kana Yamase caught up to me and she told me it was easier if you lay on your stomach and crawl.
So I switched to my stomach, but I started sliding. I slid down half the hill.
I was so tired I didn't want to put the effort into getting back up.
But then Jun Matsumoto was at the bottom of the hill and he started to climb it.
I shouted "But I won't lose to HIM!" and I started climbing back up the hill and continued with the race.
It wasn't mario kart anymore.
We were at a school in Japan where we were required to run marathon thing every year.
I was way behind, but I was determined to at least beet Jun.
I made it to the checkpoint, a grocery store. We had to go to one of the cashiers and tell them we made it. I had to wait in line behind people who were buying stuff -.- It took forever.
Finally I checked in and she told me I needed to check in after I finish the race too.
I was so tired I didn't know if I could finish the race running. But Rayshing ran to my side and grabbed my hand. Jun ran to the other side and grabbed my other hand. They pulled me along.
I felt as if I could run on my own so I thanked them and let go. I started sprinting to the finish. I passed a group of people, but still finished near last.
After, I met up with Ray who gave me a high five. I turned to Jun (I knew he had a crush on me) and put me hands up for a high five. He high faved me, but I grabbed his hands after. I was going to pull him in so I could hug him, but instead he pulled me. He was super tall and he held me up off my feet. He inclined his head and told me to kiss his cheek. I tried but I couldn't.
"I can't reach!" I laughed. He set me down and bent over and I kissed his cheek ^^
Then we held hands and walked back to the grocery store where I checked in.
Then we were walking in a hall. We weren't holding hands anymore. We ran into Jason and some girl I don't know. Jason came over to me and told Jun that we used to hold hands. I corrected him and said we held pinkies. Then Jason and I started holding pinkies.
"Well I held her hand" Jun told him in a na na voice.
Then the girl started holding Jun's hand and was like hanging all over him. I glared at them. Jun kept glancing at me, but didn't stop her, and even laughed with her.
Jason finally asked if I wanted me to hit him. I said no, but he started going towards him. I grabbed his hand and tried to pull him back but he just dragged me.
Before he could get to him, Peter Cole seperated Jun and the girl saying he wasn't being fair to me. Jun bowed a little and went to my side.
Then there was a cookie parade! Like a million people came down the hall each holding a plate of cookies. I found one that looked really good and took it ^^

Friday night, my roommates and I had a little slumber party :D
We went out to eat and then we came back to our apartment. We moved all of the couches out of the way and laid blankets on the floor. Then we each put sleeping stuff on part of it and we watched Meet the Robinsons and had a sleepover X3
It was funnn.
I found out that I have really strange, vivid dreams when I sleep on the floor. I should do it more often, they're really interesting.
Also, Joseph came over today and hung out for a few hours.
The subject came up that I've never been on a date (besides prom) and Joseph freaked out and said he was going to set me up. I was scared it'd be awkward, so he said it could be a double date and he'd go with us. And then he decided he wanted to set up Kelsey as well, so we'd make it a triple date.
Then later, Lindsay came down and she wanted to be set up too lol
So I guess we're going to go on a quadruple date..? Eventually lol

I was playing Final Fantasy X-2 when Celeste walked in. The first think she did was gasp and say "She's immodest!" (the girls are very cutely/sexily dressed) and left the room.
And a week ago, Kels and I were watching the Wedding Singer. It was at a part where he and this old lady were talking about sex. Lindsay was upstairs when she walked out for a second. After hearing the word "intercourse" she shouted "What are you watching??"
We told her it was the Wedding Singer and she said "Well, it's retarded."
And today, Lindsay was in my room and she saw a picture of Gackt and was like "Why do you have pictures of girls on your wall?"
And I was like "*Gaaaaasp* He's a mannnnn!"
And she said "But he's wearing make-up"
"Boys can wear make up" I pouted ;.;
"That's like a boy with an ear ring."
"I like boys with ear rings." ;.;
"And ew, guys with long hair."
"Some guys look good with long hair" ;.;

We got snowwwww today.
It started snowing last night and snowed all night.
But then the sun came out and it melted quite a bit.
There was still about two inches on the ground when I was walking to class.
I almost slipped a few times x.x
